Is this a law firm?

No. PatNet does not provide legal advice nor is it affiliated with any law firm. While it is run by a team of experienced IP attorneys and professionals, PatNet is the step before the lawyers.

What happens to my keywords, ideas, and data?

Your data is always deleted and never sold. Your keywords, invention/idea, and report/results can either be deleted or stored on your online profile at your request. The setting default is to delete all data after 90 days.

Can PatNet or anyone else take my idea?

PatNet’s Terms and Services include a Non-Disclosure Agreement binding PatNet to standard non-disclosure terms. If you would like a separate NDA, please send an email and PatNet will happily provide one for free.
